Maanshan MAT Aviation Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (MAT) was invited to attend the Baker Hughes Asia Pacific Supplier Conference in Shanghai on October 19, 2026. During the conference, MAT and Baker Hughes signed a Strategic Supply Agreement (SSA), marking a further step in the cooperation between the two companies.
The signing follows the successful first-piece qualification (FPQ) in August 2026 of four types of honeycomb seal products supplied by MAT for the Baker Hughes NovaLT16 gas turbine. This achievement reflects MAT’s manufacturing performance and quality control throughout the qualification process.
During the conference, the MAT team held a dedicated meeting with the Baker Hughes team. The discussions covered long-term cooperation, future capacity planning and investment, strategic development, new product development, and quotation requirements for spare parts for new units. Both teams also discussed follow-up actions.
The Baker Hughes team recognized MAT’s progress over the past year and expressed confidence in the team’s continued development. MAT will continue to focus on reliable product quality, manufacturing capability, and consistent delivery as it supports future customer requirements.
