Mr. Frederic, Production Line Manager of Safran Aircraft Engines, and Ms. Yasmine, Supplier Performance Manager, led a delegation to visit Maanshan Maiante Aerospace Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (MAT). Ms. Li Xiaoshu, General Manager of MAT, together with the Marketing Department lead, extended a warm reception to the guests.
The Safran team’s factory visit aims to conduct an on-site review of MAT’s manufacturing capacity, align on new product development progress, and lay a solid foundation for expanded cooperation in the future.
In-depth Workshop Tour to Verify Manufacturing Strength
Accompanied by MAT’s management team, Mr. Frederic and Ms. Yasmine toured the production workshop, conducting a detailed review of production workflows, equipment operation and on-site site management.
Every manufacturing procedure, ranging from precision machining of metal honeycomb cores to assembly and inspection of gas seal components, demonstrated MAT’s relentless pursuit of superior quality.
Mr. Frederic focused on tracking the progress of new product development projects, raising detailed inquiries over core links including R&D management and process control. He also put forward new requirements and recommendations for the management and control of new product development. He commended MAT on the remarkable development results achieved within a short timeframe, and expressed hope that both parties would maintain closer communication on technical alignment and project advancement.
Recognition of Manufacturing Capabilities Paves Way for Expanded Partnership
The on-site factory tour enabled Mr. Frederic to gain a more intuitive and thorough understanding of MAT’s full manufacturing capabilities. He paid special attention to MAT’s capacity to produce turbine section assemblies, noting that this capability unlocks new potential for both sides to expand cooperation scope in the future. Ms. Yasmine also offered positive feedback on MAT’s quality management system and delivery performance.
This visit not only strengthened Safran’s trust in MAT, but also opened up broader planning space for joint cooperation across a wider product portfolio.
